Baffle bulk bags are popularly known in various industries and used for optimising the space in shipping containers. The internal baffles support to keep the bag form stable as well as a good shape and easier for storing side by side or stacking on top of each other.
In FIBC Vietnam, there are two different types of baffles:
Fabric baffle is a traditional type of baffle bag. The baffle is made of 4 fabric panels into each of the bag’s corners. It is widely used for transporting sand or gravel and requires storage capacity improvement. However, it also has a drawback: the small powder can hardly flow to the corners of the fabric baffle bags.
Then Net baffle is designed to deal with some flow-able products or materials such as fine powder or grain seeds. It is widely used for transporting soybean, corn and barley with longer service life and is lightweight as compared to traditional fabric baffle bags.
